Order your FREE credit report once a year. 

Reports should be obtained from all three major souces:

     TransUnion at    1-800-680-7293     www.transunion.com  

1. Correct all mistakes on your credit report in writing.  Send the letters return receipt requested.          
2. Identify the problems item by item and send with a copy of the credit report back to the credit reporting agency.  You should expect a reply from the agency within 30 days.
3. Write to Direct Marketing Association, Mail Preference Service, P.O. Box 9008, Farmingdale, NY, 11735             to remove your name off all direct mailing lists.
