This is a local fundraiser being coordinated and competed by boys and girls in Boy Scout Unit 3006 (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts.

On January 9th, 2010, all day long, the boys and girls will pick-up and recycle Christmas trees, which will be shredded and used as mulch/bark in Whatcom County Parks.
A flier will appear in local newspapers and be announced on the radio.
